Your success is our top priority, and we’re here to help you choose the path that best aligns with your plans for the year ahead.

If you’re considering a change for 2026, here are the options available to you. (If you are making a change because your office or Managing Broker is changing, we’ll waive any transfer fees.)

If you are a Broker Associate, you can:

• Connect with any Managing Broker within the Metro Brokers network
  We have offices throughout Colorado, and we can connect you with office leaders to help you find the best fit. Offices offer added support plus the flexibility to work on-site or from your home.
• Become an Independent Broker (requires 2+ years of experience)
  We’ll walk you through every step—from setting up your business with the Secretary of State to updating your license with DORA. Once you’re licensed independently, you can:
  • Add more benefits and support by joining a Metro Brokers office—in person or from your home—with access to shared office space and resources.
  • Affiliate directly with Metro Brokers, Inc., staying fully independent while leveraging a trusted 50-year brand
  • Note: the 24-hour Brokerage Administration Course is ONLY requiered if you plan to supervise or employ other brokers)

If you are already an Independent Broker, you can:

• Join One of our Metro Brokers Offices
  Get the benefits of an office (in-office or from home) to complement your Metro Brokers Membership. We’ll guide you through the transition, including updating your business address, phone number, website, and marketing materials.
• Affiliate directly with Metro Brokers Inc. as a Home Office Member
  This option preserves your independence while giving you full access to Metro Brokers Inc. tools, resources, and brand recognition.

If you plan to continue working from an office that is not a Metro Brokers Office, you may:

• Continue your Metro Brokers membership without interruption, whether you work from a physical space in that office or from home.
• Affiliate with a Metro Brokers office that aligns with your business goals.
• Affiliate directly with Metro Brokers Inc. as a Home Office Member, preserving your independence while benefiting from our tools, systems, and brand.
